Recycling Plant in Poland: MWM TCG 2016 V16 Gas Engine Runs 100,000 Operating Hours at Full Power
Mannheim, July 26, 2023
After 14 years of operation, an MWM TCG 2016 gas engine at a waste recycling plant in Krośniewice, Poland, successfully finished 100,000 hours of operation. The gas engine had been installed in 2008 by the Polish MWM distributor Centrum Elektroniki Stosowanej CES Sp. z o.o.
Optimum Plant Operation Thanks to MWM Gas Engine
For the past 14 years, the MWM TCG 2016 gas engine has been used for the operation of a recycling plant in Krośniewice. The engine is fueled with landfill biogas. The TCG 2016 engine recently reached the impressive mark of 100,000 operating hours. The engine is regularly maintained by the service team of Centrum Elektroniki Stosowanej CES Sp. z o.o. The durability and performance of the MWM TCG 2016 V16 gas engine enabled optimum operation of the recycling facilities for 14 years. Due to the low biogas production, the MWM engine is currently running with reduced output and continues to secure the smooth operation of the recycling facilities in Krośniewice.
