October 19th, the European Commission has approved the sale of MWM from 3i to Caterpillar
Mannheim, October 19, 2011
MWM welcomes this approval, as its integration into the Caterpillar family is a very positive step for the company’s future development, its employees, clients, distributors and business partners. The product portfolios of both companies complement one another very well without any substantial overlaps.
We strongly believe that the next step in the company’s development will lead to more customer options for sustainable power generation solutions. Following the clearance by the European Commission – as the last major regulatory requirement – the transaction is expected to be closed before the end of this year. Please be assured that we will keep you informed upon the closing.
