MWM TCG 3020 Video Honored with Intermedia-Globe Silver Award 2019

At the WorldMediaFestival in Hamburg, Germany, on May 15, the MWM product video about the newly developed TCG 3020 gas engine received the Intermedia-Globe Silver Award. The WorldMediaFestival is an international competition for communication media and is considered one of the industry’s most prominent events. Every year, the renowned media festival honors outstanding production from the fields of corporate film, TV, web, and print productions.
On behalf of the entire production team, Frank Fuhrmann (Manager PR & Online Marketing at Caterpillar Energy Solutions) and Marcus Seip (Director of the Motionplan event and film agency) received the award for the product video. “It is a great honor to receive this internationally renowned media award”, said Frank Fuhrmann at the award ceremony in the Delphi Show Palace in Hamburg, Germany. “The award also underlines the value of our work and the new video concept, with which we have taken an emotional and timely path in the field of audiovisual product presentation.”

MWM Product Video Impresses Expert Jury with Sophisticated 3D Animation and Captivating Soundtrack
The jury, which consisted of experienced experts from the fields of communication, film production, and other subject areas, especially praised the technically sophisticated, very modern, and digitally tinged 3D animations of the product film. Marcus Seip, Director of the production company Motionplan, expresses his pleasure that “Caterpillar Energy Solutions decided in favor of the approach of presenting the components and the genset in the form of holographic renderings instead of using photorealistic models.”
The flexible TCG 3020 gas engine is the all-round talent among the MWM gas engines and supports the use of natural gas, biogas, landfill gas, or propane gas. Moreover, thanks to the innovative TPEM plant control, the TCG 3020 gas engine is well prepared for the challenges of the digital age and distributed energy supply. The three-and-a-half-minute video clip demonstrates the benefits and technical innovations of the gas engine series with a 3D animation and easy-to-understand information.
Additionally, the video draws attention to the technical innovations and economic advantages of the TCG 3020, such as the more compact design and high profitability. The dynamic animations are accompanied by a captivating soundtrack that was composed especially for the product video.
