MWM Service Tutorial Video Series “Do it the smart way”: Episode 3 Explains TPEM Auxiliary Drive Test

The MWM service tutorial series “Do it the smart way” on the MWM YouTube channel presents basic maintenance tips and instructions. In the third episode of the video series, Alexander Klotz, Technical Trainer at the Training Center Service in Mannheim, explains how to conduct TPEM auxiliary drive tests on an MWM gas engine.
Step by Step Through All Needed Procedures
TPEM (Total Plant & Energy Management) is used for comprehensive power-plant and gas-engine control. The instructions for the TPEM auxiliary drive test are demonstrated on the basis of five selected tests. First, the test mode is activated. In the video, Alexander Klotz guides the viewer step by step through the process. The input is presented on a screen that is visible to the viewer and in a way that is easy to understand. Additionally, important security instructions are provided prior to the tests in order to prevent potential damage to the gas engine.
Further episodes of the MWM video series “Do it the smart way” are in the works. Episode 4 “TPEM Data Export” has already been published on the YouTube channel “mwmgenset”. The English versions of the two new MWM service tutorial episodes are available on YouTube (synchronized and with subtitles). Additional language versions of the new episode are currently being prepared in French, Spanish, and Chinese.
