Lomagna, Italy-based Intergen, the energy business unit of the IML Group, is the only distribution partner of MWM gas engines and remains among the leading companies in the market for cogeneration plants (CHP plants) in Italy. It reaches a domestic market share of more than 30 percent in the segment of CHP installations using natural gas. Commenting on the company’s excellent business results, the director general of Intergen, Nicolò Cariboni, stated: “More than 90 percent of the business this year comes from cogeneration plants fueled by natural gas, a segment in which we hold more than 30 percent market share in Italy. Our CHP plants are equipped with one of the highest-performing engines available on the market – the MWM gas engines – of which we are the sole distributor since 1987. In addition to this partnership in the field of gas engines, with over 25 years in the industry we’ve gained the know-how and the technological skills that enable us to manage the entire process chain, ranging from design to maintenance.”
