MWM Gas Engines Equipped with Turbochargers

The first experiments to equip MWM gas engines with turbochargers had already started back in 1961. Following the successful testing, the performance of the gas engines was increased considerably. Eventually, the performance-optimized gas engines were introduced to the market.

The MWM lineup of 1968 included gas engines with and without turbocharger as well as diesel-gas engines (dual engines) with and without turbocharger.
